1. When creating a new virtual device in Genymotion, an error occurred during download: unable to create irtual device: connection timeout occurred, as shown in Figure 1
Translation: Unable to create virtual device: Connection timeout

2. Open the directory of the current system user: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Genymobile, as shown in Figure 2

3. Open genymotion.log to check the logs, as shown in Figure 3

4. Copy the system link: http://dl.genymotion.com/dists/6.0.0/ova/genymotion_vbox86p_6.0_160825_141918.ova, then download it using Thunder, as shown in Figure 4

5. Copy the downloaded genymotion_vbox86p_6.0_160825_141918.ova to the directory: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Genymobile\Genymotion\ova, as shown in Figure 5

6. Create a new virtual device again, and it prompts that the virtual device was created successfully, as shown in Figure 6

7. The virtual device starts successfully, as shown in Figure 7

8. Open the browser, enter baidu.com, and it prompts that the webpage cannot be found. The webpage at http://baidu.com could not be loaded as: net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED, as shown in Figure 8

9. Open genymotion.log to check the logs for warnings, as shown in Figure 9

10. Open VirtualBox, go to File – Preferences – Network – Host-only Networks, and check “VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter #2”, as shown in Figure 10

11. Open VirtualBox, go to File – Preferences – Network – Host-only Networks, and delete all networks. Upon final analysis, this step can be skipped, as shown in Figure 11

11. In Genymotion, go to Settings – Misc – Clear cache, then delete all virtual devices, as shown in Figure 12

12. Repeat step 5, create a new virtual device again, open the browser, and enter baidu.com. It still prompts that the webpage cannot be found. The webpage at http://baidu.com could not be loaded as: net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED, as shown in Figure 8

13. Create a new virtual device in Genymotion with Android version 5.1.0 instead of 6.0.0, and let Genymotion download it automatically rather than using Thunder. Open 360.com, download 360 Mobile Assistant, and install it, as shown in Figure 13

14. Restart Genymotion and open 5.1.0 again, because the browser error net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED often only appears after a restart. Open the browser, and it works normally, as shown in Figure 14

15. However, opening the browser in 6.0.0 still gives the error: net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED, as shown in Figure 15

16. I decided to delete the 6.0.0 virtual device and then rely on an automatic download rather than a Thunder download, so I needed to delete genymotion_vbox86p_6.0_160825_141918.ova first, as shown in Figure 16

17. Open the browser in 6.0.0, and it opens normally, but when downloading a file, it gives the error: Unfortunately, “Browser” has stopped. As shown in Figure 17

18. Restart Genymotion and open the 6.0.0 browser again; it still gives the error: net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED. Therefore, I concluded that this is an issue with the Android version, and using version 5.1.0 temporarily will suffice. Step 11 can be skipped, as shown in Figure 18
