1. When publishing a video submission to Bilibili, it prompts: Submission category error. See Figure 1.
2. Analysis of this failed submission shows that the selected category is: News – General. See Figure 2.
3. The successfully published submission had the selected category: Life – Other. See Figure 3.
4. The current account level used for publishing submissions is: Premium Member. Just a little bit away from becoming a Full Member! See Figure 4.
5. In the Bilibili Creator Center, when selecting a category, Life – Other exists, but News – General does not. See Figure 5.
6. Based on the analysis, since News – General cannot be selected in the Creator Center categories, submitting via the API naturally results in the error: Submission category error. I logged in with a different account, which is a media account, and its categories do include News – General. See Figure 6.
7. Going forward, we plan to fetch article categories dynamically based on the membership level, preventing users from having to select fixed article category data. This will avoid the recurrence of the Submission category error situation.
