1. When logging into the OKX (okex) APP, an error occurs: url:https://api.geetest.com/gt_judgement?pt=2,error:java.net.SocketTimeoutException:Read timed out. See Figure 1.
2. Open Lantern, connect to the VPN, and set the server location to Singapore. See Figure 2.
3. Log in again; the error persists: url:https://api.geetest.com/gt_judgement?pt=2,error:java.net.SocketTimeoutException:failed to connect to api.geetest.com/203.107.32.16 (port 443) from / 10.33.11.215 (port 41208) after 5000ms. See Figure 3.
4. Open Lantern, then go to Account – Settings – Enable all proxies. See Figure 4.
5. Log in again. Verification via another device or answering a phone call on the current device is required. Choose the phone call verification. The first call was missed because the incoming call was flagged as a telemarketing call and automatically blocked. Go to Call History – Blocklist – Call Blocking Settings – Call Blocking – Block Numbers with Specific Tags – Off. See Figure 5.
6. After passing the phone call verification, the second verification is an SMS verification code. See Figure 6.
7. Login successful. After logging in successfully, you can disconnect the Lantern VPN. Subsequent logins default to fingerprint authentication, so there is no need to use a proxy to bypass the firewall again. See Figure 7.
