1. When clicking the username: 111111, the dropdown menu that should appear does not respond at all. See Figure 1.
2. Confirm that the Bootstrap JavaScript library has been imported. Laravel has already configured jQuery and Bootstrap for us by default in the resources/js/bootstrap.js file. Checking the source code, both the app.css and app.js files have been imported. See Figure 2.
3. View the source code of app.css to confirm the Bootstrap version number: Bootstrap v5.1.3. See Figure 3.
4. Check the URL: https://v5.bootcss.com/docs/examples/headers/ . In Bootstrap version 5.x, there are some changes to the class naming for dropdown menus. data-bs-toggle=”dropdown”. See Figure 4.

6. Adjust data-toggle=”dropdown” to: data-bs-toggle=”dropdown”. When clicking the username: 111111, the dropdown list now pops up. See Figure 6.
