1. I want to calculate the total profit from shorting CYBER_USD over the past few months. In the APP, I navigate to Trade History – Futures – Asset Flow. All trading pairs: CYBER USDT Perpetual. As shown in Figure 1.

2. However, calculating the total profit for a specific period requires manually adding and subtracting each entry one by one, which is too difficult.
3. On the WEB interface, I go to Futures Orders – Asset Flow. Futures trading pair: CYBER USDT Perpetual, Date: 2023-09-01 > 2023-09-12. As shown in Figure 2.

4. Since the WEB page does not provide a summary for the profit column, I click the Export Asset Flow link. Please select a time period: Past month (2023-08-12 > 2023-09-12). As shown in Figure 3.

5. I open the downloaded xlsx file and manually filter it. Futures trading pair: CYBER USDT. As shown in Figure 4.

6. I click on the Amount column to sum it: 491.5625. The calculation shows that over the period from 2023-09-01 11:51 to 2023-09-08 04:56, totaling 8 days, the total profit is 491.5625. As shown in Figure 5.

7. However, I plan to calculate the funding fees (FUNDING). I filter the Asset Type column for FUNDING, click the Amount column, and sum it: -200.9233. As shown in Figure 6.

8. Next, I calculate the trading fees (FEE). I filter the Asset Type column for FEE, click the Amount column, and sum it: -0.5270. As shown in Figure 6.
9. Because the profit for the Asset Type CLOSE_POSITION is 690.013. This shows that MEXC’s funding fees are genuinely high. Out of the closing profit, 200.9233 / 690.013 = 0.29, meaning about 30% is spent on funding fees.
10. Reference: How to calculate the total profit of a specific cryptocurrency over a certain period in OKX . Compared to OKX’s 20% expenditure, I will most likely prioritize OKX going forward. However, ultimately, I have decided to stick to spot trading or low-leverage long positions as much as possible, as they are more secure.
