1. Add a custom network in MetaMask. Reference: Add BEVM network .
2. Go to Networks > Add network, and click Add a network manually. See Figure 1.

3. Fill in the data in the form. See Figure 2.

4. Later, I noticed a discrepancy with the screenshot on the reference page, so I decided to edit it again. Under Settings > Networks, I added a / suffix to the URL. See Figure 3.

5. Go to https://bswap.bevm.io/#/bridge and connect your EVM wallet (MetaMask) and BTC wallet (OKX Wallet). Note: Your EVM wallet will be used to receive the BTC bridged from Bitcoin to Layer 2. See Figure 4.

6. The OneKey wallet kept popping up automatically when connecting the wallet. I reconfigured OneKey: under Wallet Switch, when the option is enabled, the wallet’s injection connection method will be overridden by
OneKey. I turned them all off. I also disabled OKX Wallet as the default wallet. See Figure 5.

7. Clicking the first Connect Wallet button brought up two wallets to choose from. This was likely because OKX was previously the default wallet; therefore, when selecting MetaMask, the custom BEVM network was automatically added to OKX. See Figure 6.

8. Clicking the second Connect Wallet button resulted in no response. I removed the custom BEVM network from OKX Wallet, but there was still no response. See Figure 7.

9. Finally, by observing the icon, I confirmed that the second wallet to connect must be the UniSat Wallet. After installing the UniSat Wallet extension, the connection succeeded. See Figure 8.

10. Enter the desired amount in the wallet, then click the Transfer button. However, clicking it prompted a Network Error. See Figure 9.

11. Turn off the system proxy in the proxy software. See Figure 10.

12. Select BTC and enter the amount you want to bridge. Manually select the transaction fee level. Note: BEVM currently provides a feature to manually set the Gas fee standard. After confirming the fee level, click Transfer to initiate the transaction. To ensure the security of user assets, assets transferred to BEVM require 3 confirmations on the Bitcoin mainnet (at least 30 minutes). See Figure 11.

13. Check the Pending status. See Figure 12.

14. Check the final transaction status. See Figure 13.

15. About two days later, I checked MetaMask and found that the coins had been deposited into the wallet. See Figure 14.
