BeWild (WildAI) “Fix Subscription” Keeps Popping Up: No Need to Keep Clicking When ChatGPT Plus Is Normal

Figure 1: After completing two fix operations, WildAI's "Fix Subscription" window continues to pop up

On August 4, 2026, I saw a prompt on the WildAI page stating that my “subscription may have expired,” so I re-uploaded my ChatGPT Session as required by the page.

After submission, the page clearly showed “Upload successful,” and the 3-month ChatGPT Plus plan I purchased through BeWild remained in a normal state. The entire operation process is recorded in the previous article:

I originally thought that after completing this fix, the related prompt would no longer appear.

However, on August 5, 2026, WildAI kept popping up the “Fix Subscription” window. Worried that the Session submitted the day before might not have actually taken effect, I performed another fix that day.

Including the one I completed on August 4, I performed the operation twice in total, but the pop-up window still did not disappear.

Unable to determine whether this was just a routine reminder, a failure to update the page status, or an ongoing issue with the renewal, I ultimately contacted BeWild customer support for confirmation.

1. Fix succeeded the day before, but the pop-up continued the next day

The title of the window popped up by WildAI is:

Fix Subscription

The page also prompts:

We detected that the following subscription may have expired. Please select one to continue.

The window displayed the ChatGPT Plus subscription I was currently using and provided two buttons:

  • Maybe later
  • Fix Subscription

When I first saw this prompt on August 4, I had already re-uploaded the Session as required, and the page showed the upload was successful.

However, after logging back into WildAI on August 5, this window continued to pop up.

Worried that the Session submitted the previous day might not have actually taken effect, I performed the operation again on August 5. Including the one completed the previous day, I performed the fix operation twice in total.

Yet, even after completing the fix again, the pop-up window still did not disappear.

Therefore, I asked customer support:

I clicked Fix Subscription and have already done it 2 times. Why does it keep popping up?

2. Customer support first provided a general solution for renewal failures

In their first reply, customer support provided a set of procedures for handling cases where a renewal order did not take effect or a multi-month plan renewal failed.

The general process is:

  1. Log in to the ChatGPT website;
  2. Check if there are any overdue bills in the account;
  3. Go to the settings and billing page;
  4. Cancel the current plan;
  5. Log back into ChatGPT to let the account revert to Free;
  6. Return to the BeWild transaction record page;
  7. Click “Fix Subscription” again.

The transaction record page provided by customer support is:

https://bewild.ai/transaction-record

This method is more suitable for the following situations:

  • ChatGPT Plus has already expired;
  • The monthly renewal was not successful;
  • There are overdue bills in the account;
  • BeWild shows the renewal is complete, but the ChatGPT account is still Free;
  • The multi-month plan reached its renewal point but failed to proceed to the next month.

But my actual situation was not like this.

My current ChatGPT Plus was still working normally, and the subscription page did not show any expiration or outstanding balance.

Therefore, I did not immediately cancel my current plan according to customer support’s first reply. Instead, I first sent a screenshot of my subscription status to customer support.

3. My ChatGPT Plus is currently still normal

I opened ChatGPT’s subscription and billing page to check.

The page showed that I was still a ChatGPT Plus user, and I could see the records for the previous two subscription cycles.

Specifically:

  • The first month’s subscription cycle completed normally;
  • The second month’s subscription cycle took effect normally;
  • The current ChatGPT Plus features can be used normally;
  • The page showed no overdue bills;
  • The account had not reverted to Free.

I then told customer support:

My subscription is normal. I am on the 3-month plan.

The “3-month plan” mentioned here actually refers to the fact that I purchased 3 months of ChatGPT Plus service at once on BeWild.

BeWild will continue to process renewals in subsequent months, but the ChatGPT side still displays the billing and subscription time on a monthly cycle basis.

4. Customer support confirms: If the subscription has not expired, there is no need to continue fixing

After seeing the subscription status I provided, customer support gave a clearer reply:

If your subscription has not expired, you do not need to click the Fix Subscription button.

This indicates that my current ChatGPT Plus had not experienced a renewal failure.

Even if the WildAI page continues to pop up the “Fix Subscription” window, as long as the Plus subscription in the ChatGPT account is still normal, there is no need to repeatedly re-upload the Session.

However, I was still a bit worried at the time.

Because this window was actively and repeatedly popped up by the platform, I could not be sure whether ignoring it would affect the renewal for the third month.

So, I explained further to customer support:

The main thing is that you keep popping it up. I thought if I didn’t click Fix Subscription, there might be some unknown issues.

Customer support finally confirmed again:

No need to click it anymore.

At this point, the issue was basically clear:

When the current ChatGPT Plus subscription is normal, even if WildAI repeatedly pops up the “Fix Subscription” window, there is no need to continue clicking or repeatedly submitting the Session.

5. The “Fix Subscription” pop-up repeatedly appearing does not mean Plus has expired

In this experience, the most easily misunderstood part was the prompt text from WildAI.

The page displayed:

We detected that the following subscription may have expired.

It uses “may have expired” rather than “has expired.”

However, for regular users, as long as this window keeps appearing, it is easy to interpret it as:

  • The previous fix was not successful;
  • The newly uploaded Session is still invalid;
  • The current Plus might lose its subscription at any time;
  • Not continuing to click might affect next month’s renewal;
  • The original multi-month order might have encountered an anomaly.

In fact, according to the final reply from customer support, to determine whether a fix is needed, you should first look at the actual subscription status in your ChatGPT account.

As long as Plus is still valid, there are no overdue bills, and all features can be used normally, there is no need to repeatedly perform operations due to the WildAI pop-up.

In other words:

The “Fix Subscription” prompt in WildAI does not, by itself, prove that ChatGPT Plus has expired or that the renewal failed.

6. Why does it keep popping up after completing the fix

Customer support ultimately only confirmed that “there is no need to click it anymore” and did not further explain why the pop-up repeatedly appears.

Therefore, it is not yet possible to directly conclude that this is a program error in WildAI.

Based on the actual phenomenon, the following situations may exist:

  • After the fix was successful, the pop-up status was not updated in time;
  • There is a certain delay in the subscription detection results;
  • The page still read the previous risk status;
  • The “Fix Subscription” window uses rather broad trigger conditions;
  • The Session status and the actual ChatGPT subscription status are not the same detection result;
  • The pop-up is just a risk reminder and does not mean the current subscription is abnormal.

These are just speculations based on the actual phenomenon.

Currently, only two things can be confirmed:

  1. My ChatGPT Plus is currently still normal;
  2. BeWild customer support explicitly stated that there is no need to continue clicking “Fix Subscription”.

Therefore, until the platform provides a more detailed explanation, there is no need to directly interpret this pop-up as a renewal failure.

7. Do not directly cancel a normal plan because of a generic customer support reply

Customer support’s first reply mentioned “cancel the plan and revert to Free.”

This is a set of procedures for handling renewal failures, overdue bills, or abnormal account statuses, but it is not necessarily applicable to all users who see the “Fix Subscription” pop-up.

If the current ChatGPT Plus is still normal, it is not recommended to immediately cancel the existing subscription just because of a generic reply.

A safer sequence of actions would be:

  1. First check if ChatGPT still shows Plus currently;
  2. Check the current subscription cycle and expiration time;
  3. Check if there are any overdue or failed payments in the billing;
  4. Confirm whether the Plus features can be used normally;
  5. Send screenshots of the subscription page and billing page to customer support;
  6. Wait for customer support to provide clear handling advice based on the current account status.

Only after confirming that the subscription has indeed expired, and customer support explicitly requests canceling the plan and reverting to Free, is it necessary to perform this set of operations.

Otherwise, an originally normal Plus subscription might actually change due to being actively canceled.

8. What to do when “Fix Subscription” repeatedly pops up

Based on this actual consultation, if you encounter the same problem again in the future, you can judge it according to the following situations.

1. ChatGPT Plus has already expired

If the account already shows as Free, or Plus has not been restored after the renewal point has passed, you can follow the fix process provided by BeWild.

At this point, you may need to:

  • Check for overdue bills;
  • Handle the failed subscription status;
  • Cancel the abnormal plan and revert to Free;
  • Return to BeWild and click “Fix Subscription” again;
  • Re-submit a currently valid Session.

2. ChatGPT Plus is still normal

If the account still shows Plus, the billing is normal, and there are no feature abnormalities, there is no need to repeatedly click fix.

Even if the pop-up continues to appear, you can just select “Maybe later” or close it directly.

According to the reply from customer support this time, when the current subscription has not expired, there is no need to continue clicking “Fix Subscription”.

3. Unable to determine the current status

If you cannot determine whether it is a false page report or a real subscription issue, you can simultaneously take screenshots of the following pages:

  • WildAI’s “Fix Subscription” pop-up;
  • BeWild’s order page;
  • ChatGPT’s current plan page;
  • ChatGPT’s billing details;
  • The current subscription cycle and expiration time.

Then send all this information together to customer support for confirmation.

Compared to just telling customer support that “the pop-up keeps appearing”, providing complete subscription status and billing evidence makes it easier for them to determine whether the general fix solution is applicable to the current account.

9. This pop-up indeed easily causes unnecessary worry for users

From the platform’s perspective, “Fix Subscription” may just be intended to prevent Session expiration from affecting subsequent renewals.

However, from the user’s perspective, a repeatedly appearing pop-up is easily interpreted as an issue that must be handled immediately.

Especially since the window uses a prompt like “subscription may have expired”.

Even if the user has already completed the fix, as long as the pop-up does not disappear, it is difficult to determine:

  • Whether the fix was actually successful;
  • Whether it needs to be submitted again;
  • Whether ignoring the prompt will affect the remaining plan;
  • Whether the current order is still safe;
  • Whether subsequent automatic renewals can still be executed normally.

It was precisely because I could not determine these issues that I performed the operation once on August 4, and then again on August 5.

If WildAI could add clearer status explanations on the page, the user experience would be better.

For example, the prompt could be modified to:

The current ChatGPT Plus is still valid, and no immediate fix is required. Please perform this operation only after the subscription expires or a renewal fails.

Alternatively, after the Session is successfully uploaded, the detection status could be updated in a timely manner so that the same fix prompt would no longer continue to appear.

This would prevent users from repeatedly submitting the same information out of worry about their subscription expiring.

10. Whether the third month is successfully renewed still needs continued observation

What customer support confirmed this time was only:

When the current subscription has not expired, there is no need to continue clicking “Fix Subscription”.

This does not mean that the third month has been successfully renewed in advance.

I purchased a 3-month plan. Currently, the second month of ChatGPT Plus is still valid, and the third month has not yet reached the actual renewal point.

Therefore, it will still be necessary to continue checking around the start of the third month:

  • Whether ChatGPT Plus remains normal;
  • Whether a new subscription cycle is generated in the billing;
  • Whether the expiration time is extended further;
  • Whether BeWild successfully completes the renewal for the third month;
  • Whether WildAI will continue to pop up the fix prompt.

If the third month can ultimately be renewed normally, it can be further confirmed that:

Even if WildAI’s “Fix Subscription” window does not disappear in time, as long as the current ChatGPT subscription is normal and you do not repeat the operation as advised by customer support, it will not affect subsequent renewals.

However, until the third month is actually renewed, this point still needs continued observation and no premature conclusions can be drawn.

11. Details of this customer support consultation

The actual situation this time can be summarized as:

  1. On August 4, WildAI prompted that the subscription may have expired;
  2. I re-uploaded the ChatGPT Session as required;
  3. The page showed the upload was successful;
  4. The original 3-month order remained normal;
  5. On August 5, the “Fix Subscription” window continued to pop up;
  6. I performed another fix on the second day, totaling two operations over the two days;
  7. After the second operation was completed, the pop-up still did not disappear;
  8. I contacted BeWild customer support to inquire about the reason;
  9. Customer support first provided a general handling solution for renewal failures;
  10. I explained to customer support that the current ChatGPT Plus was still normal;
  11. Customer support confirmed that there is no need to click fix when the subscription has not expired;
  12. Regarding the continuously appearing pop-up, customer support explicitly replied again that “there is no need to click it anymore”.

The final conclusion is:

When ChatGPT Plus is currently still valid, billing is normal, and no renewal failure has occurred, even if WildAI continues to pop up the “Fix Subscription” window, there is no need to repeatedly click or re-upload the Session.

12. Summary

On August 5, 2026, I contacted BeWild customer support regarding the issue of WildAI’s “Fix Subscription” window repeatedly popping up.

On August 4, I had already re-uploaded the Session once as required by the page, and the page clearly showed that the upload was successful.

But on August 5, this window continued to appear. Worried that the previous day’s operation had not actually taken effect, I performed another fix that day.

Including the one from the previous day, I performed the operation twice in total, but the pop-up window still did not disappear.

Upon checking, my ChatGPT Plus is currently still normal, and the two subscription cycles that have occurred so far show no abnormalities.

BeWild customer support ultimately explicitly confirmed:

If the subscription has not expired, you do not need to click the Fix Subscription button.

Customer support did not provide a specific explanation for why the pop-up did not disappear. Therefore, it is currently impossible to determine whether it is a status sync delay, overly broad detection conditions, or a failure to update the page prompt in time.

But at least it can be confirmed that:

The repeated appearance of the “Fix Subscription” pop-up does not mean that ChatGPT Plus has expired.

When the current subscription is normal, there is no need to repeatedly submit the Session just because the pop-up persists, and you certainly should not directly cancel a still-valid Plus plan before confirming the problem.

Next, I will still wait until the actual renewal point of the third month to continue verifying whether BeWild can successfully complete the ChatGPT Plus renewal for the remaining month.
