1. In Windows 10, the system right-click menu -> New -> lacks the “New Text Document” option. It disappeared after my family used the computer for a while, as shown in Figure 1.

5. Double-click this file. When prompted whether to import registry information, click “Yes”, as shown in Figure 4.
6. The Registry Editor displays a success message, as shown in Figure 5.
7. The “New Text Document” option is now back in the menu, as shown in Figure 6.
