Alibaba Cloud ICP Filing Verification Notice: Domain Expired, Filing Update Required

1. Received an email: Alibaba Cloud ICP Filing Information Verification Notice: The domain under the website has expired, and the ICP filing needs to be updated. See Figure 1.

2. I no longer plan to use wangqiang.store. Because I felt that updating the ICP filing might be troublesome, I decided to renew the domain instead. Unexpectedly, the annual fee is 85 RMB, which exceeds my expectations. I decided to give up. See Figure 2.

3. I decided to try updating the ICP filing. I went to ICP Filing and, under the filed websites, canceled the website wangqiang.store. See Figure 3.

4. Ministry of Industry and Information Technology SMS verification result: It will be updated in 24 hours. If verification is already complete, please wait patiently. See Figure 4.

5. After about 1 hour, I received a text message. [Ministry of Industry and Information Technology] Verification code: 873722. Your cancellation of internet information service has been submitted. Verification link: beian.miit.gov.cn, valid for 1 day [MIIT ICP Filing]. Dear ICP user: Your SMS verification has been fully completed, and this request will be submitted to the communications administration for review. See Figure 5.

6. After about 1 hour, I received an email: an email notification from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology website filing system, stating that the ICP filing number for this internet service has been canceled. See Figure 6.

7. I went to Alibaba Cloud ICP Filing and, under the filed websites, confirmed that wangqiang.store has disappeared. This meets expectations. See Figure 7.
