Previously, I tested Zoog’s actual accessibility under mainland China’s network environment and compiled the issues encountered during testing to report back to the official team.
At that time, my focus was not on the product features available after registration, but rather on an earlier issue:
Can users successfully access the official website and complete the initial step of access before registering?
On July 3, 2026, I sent my actual test results to Zoog.
I originally thought there would be no further follow-up to this feedback, but on July 28, I received a formal reply from Zoog Affiliate Manager Alexandra.
This email not only addressed the issues I had previously discovered but also confirmed Zoog’s approach to mainland China’s accessibility and provided the entry point currently recommended for Chinese users.
Therefore, I decided to document this official response separately as a follow-up to my previous hands-on test.
1. What Issues I Discovered in Previous Tests
In my previous hands-on tests, I found that for users in mainland China, Zoog’s most noticeable issue occurred at the very beginning of the entire usage flow.
Specifically:
Before even starting registration and trying the product, users might be blocked by accessibility issues with the official website’s entry point.
This type of issue actually has a significant impact on the average user experience.
Regardless of subsequent product features, if users cannot even open the official website, registration page, or relevant entry points, the entire conversion process effectively stops at the first step.
Therefore, instead of merely recording the test results, I organized my observations into an email and sent it to Zoog.
For the complete previous testing process, you can refer to:

2. On July 28, I Finally Received a Reply from Zoog
On July 28, 2026, I received a reply from Zoog Affiliate Manager Alexandra.
At the beginning of the email, she apologized for the delayed response, explaining that my previous email had somehow been missed.

However, the content that followed is more noteworthy.
Zoog did not deny the access issues I had encountered.
Instead, Alexandra explicitly stated:
accessibility is one of the biggest challenges in mainland China
In other words, from Zoog’s official perspective, accessibility within mainland China’s network environment is itself one of the major challenges they face.
This largely aligns with the results of my previous hands-on tests.
3. Zoog States It Will Continuously Monitor Domain Availability
Another important piece of information in the email was that Zoog acknowledged the continuous changes in mainland China’s network environment.
Therefore, they will continuously monitor the availability of relevant domains and update the recommended domains when necessary to maintain the best possible user experience.
This actually explains why the same product might exhibit noticeably different accessibility when tested at different times.
It also means:
The fact that a single test allows normal access does not mean this entry point will remain unchanged forever.
The reverse is also true.
A single access failure cannot directly lead to the conclusion that the product will remain inaccessible in the future.
Given this situation, I believe that maintaining a long-term record of actual test results is more meaningful than making a one-off judgment of “works” or “doesn’t work.”
4. The Official Team Has Provided a New Recommended Entry Point
In this reply, Zoog also provided the entry point currently recommended for Chinese users. Later, when I logged into the Zoog Affiliate Dashboard, I found that the backend separately provided a promotional entry point specifically for Chinese users.
As of now, you can view the product and service information currently offered by Zoog through the Zoog currently recommended entry point.
It should be noted that this records the information provided in Zoog’s official email reply as of July 28, 2026, and subsequently by the affiliate backend. Since Zoog stated it will adjust the recommended entry points based on the network environment, these addresses may still change in the future.
5. Affiliate Partners’ Promotional Links May Also Be Adjusted Accordingly
This email also contained a piece of information directly related to website monetization.
Alexandra mentioned that for Zoog’s affiliate partners, they will continuously maintain the latest promotional links optimized for Chinese users within the Affiliate Dashboard.
This means that when using relevant affiliate links in the future, I cannot simply assume that a specific promotional address will remain permanent.
At least based on Zoog’s current mechanism:
The recommended links in the affiliate backend may be adjusted according to actual conditions.
However, I am not yet ready to set up a dedicated automated mechanism to maintain links in historical articles.
The reason is simple.
It remains unknown whether these adjustments will be a frequent occurrence or only happen in a few special cases.
Building a complex automated update mechanism in advance for a maintenance issue that does not yet clearly exist would likely increase unnecessary maintenance costs instead.
Therefore, at this stage, I will still base my actions on the actual situation.
6. Zoog Will Also Forward Test Feedback to the Technical Team
In addition to providing the new recommended entry point, Alexandra stated that she would forward my hands-on test observations to their technical team.
She mentioned in the email that test feedback from a real network environment in mainland China is highly valuable for improving their user onboarding process.
This is actually quite interesting to me.
Initially, I was simply documenting the issues I actually encountered from the perspective of an average user and affiliate partner.
But ultimately, this kind of testing could反过来 become part of how the product team evaluates the real user experience.
This is also one of the reasons why I am increasingly willing to continue conducting long-term hands-on tests.
Compared to simply compiling product specifications, I prefer to document:
Actual access results, variations over time, official customer service responses, and issues that arise during real-world usage.
This information is often more valuable for reference than the promotional pages on the official product website.
7. This Official Reply Also Validates the Value of Previous Tests
Previously, I wrote an article related to hands-on testing of such products and affiliate marketing.
As of now, that article has received 544 views.
For my website, this number makes one thing clearer to me:
There is indeed a significant demand for content featuring this kind of real product testing.
Especially when an article does more than just repeat the official website’s feature descriptions—containing actual access results, troubleshooting, customer service communication, and subsequent changes—it provides information that the official site itself lacks.
At the same time, this type of content naturally aligns with affiliate marketing.
Users usually do not make an immediate decision just by seeing a product name.
Often, what they really want to know is:
What is the current status of this product?
Is actual access normal?
Will they encounter issues during the purchase or registration process?
If issues arise, will the official team address them?
These are exactly the types of value that long-term hands-on test articles can provide.
8. I Will Continue to Document Zoog’s Actual Changes in the Future
Zoog’s reply this time does not mean that the previously discovered issues have been completely resolved.
More accurately, it confirmed three things for me.
First, Zoog’s official team is aware of the special challenges of accessing the service from mainland China.
Second, they will continuously adjust the recommended entry points based on the actual network environment.
Third, affiliate partners can obtain their currently recommended promotional links through the backend.
As for how effective these adjustments are in the real world, that remains to be seen.
I will also conduct hands-on tests again at an appropriate time in the future.
If there are noticeable changes in accessibility, recommended entry points, or affiliate partnership methods, I will continue to document them.
For this type of product, I am increasingly inclined to treat it as a long-term observation project, rather than considering it finished after writing a single hands-on experience article.
Over time, these records left at different points in time may prove more valuable than a one-off product review.
Readers currently interested in Zoog can also view the product and plan information currently offered by the official team through the Zoog recommended entry point for Chinese users.
