The process of applying for passports in China (Chengdu) in China

1. What kind of passport do you have now? The application is: ordinary passport (private passport)

2. How to handle (the most recommended)

3. The first step: make an appointment, WeChat applet: Immigration Bureau 12367, Chinese citizen service – on-site certificate appointment – choose to apply for an outlet. as shown in Figure 1

4. Types of certificates (multiple choices) Ordinary passports Travel and endorsements to and from Hong Kong and Macau Travel Permits and endorsements for travel to and from Taiwan, choose ordinary passports. as shown in Figure 2

5. The reason for the destination and departure (required), the reason for leaving the country 👉 Travel ✔ (the most commonly used and stable) to the place 👉 Singapore / Malaysia / Thailand (choose one). as shown in Figure 3

6. Check the online appointment information. as shown in Figure 4

7. In the entry and exit hall of the High-tech Zone, first line up to receive the application form for Chinese citizens’ entry and exit documents, and the queuing number of the Chengdu High-tech Zone Government Service Center. as shown in Figure 5

8. After the window is completed, receive the receipt of the private exit certificate. I applied it on April 1st, and found that I will not be able to receive my passport until April 13, and the cost is 120 yuan. as shown in Figure 6

9. On April 15, I went to the entry and exit self-service license machine in the lobby on the first floor of the outlet to collect my passport. Just bring your ID. as shown in Figure 7
