Copy shortcuts in Windows 10 to get stuck, progress bar unchanged and analysis

1. Stuck when copying in Windows 10, and the progress bar will not change. Continuously cancel the copy, then copy again, still not working. Stuck every time on file: ahooks. as shown in Figure 1

2. Try to search in the source directory: ahooks and find that it is a shortcut. as shown in Figure 2

3. The initial suspicion is related to the disk itself where the source directory is located, because sometimes the system cannot be read to the disk where the source directory is located, so I decided to copy the file to the new disk.

4. In the end, I decided to delete the ahooks in the source directory, and then found that it was stuck on another shortcut: Antd. Figure 3, Figure 4

5. Finally decided to give up the directory where there are multiple shortcuts in copying: node_modules . Cancel copy, when copying again, no more copying: node_modules. No longer stuck. as shown in Figure 5
